Material World art show at Sharon Historical Society gallery

SHARON — A show of work by artists Rosemary Barrett and Kevin MacDonald opened at the Sharon Historical Society (SHS) gallery on Nov. 12 and runs through Dec. 23.

Barrett has been an artist and art teacher all her life. She said she comes from “a long line of artists.” That creative tradition is continuing with her own children: her daughter Ivy is a muralist living in Malibu, Calif., and her son Joe is a cartoonist and musician who lives in New Orleans.
