CORNWALL — Two marijuana farmers, mistaken last April for poachers two day before turkey hunting season began, were sentenced in Litchfield Superior Court last week.
Timothy Hogan, 52, of Newington and Gary Hall, 55, of Goshen were caught by state Department of Environmental Protection conservation officers on Everest Hill Road on April 26, 2010.
The officers were doing a pre-season check of hunting areas when they saw the men in camouflage clothing. When confronted, Hogan fled on foot, leaving his car behind. He was later arrested on a warrant.
