Legion pays a warm tribute to fellow veterans

MILLERTON — About 150 people, veterans and their families and friends, gathered at American Legion Post 178 for the Fifth Annual Veterans Day Dinner on the evening of Thursday, Nov. 10. It was a full house, made up of all ages, from young children (many in the Legion’s Junior Auxilary, who helped serve that night) all the way up to World War II veterans who came dressed in full uniform. Those attending were treated to a home-cooked meal put on by the Legion Auxiliary, as well as words of inspiration from keynote speaker Lt. Col. John Walker, U.S.
