Lambs are here, it must be spring

FALLS VILLAGE — Larry the Lamb is the latest addition to the animal family at Housatonic Valley Regional High School. Larry was three days old when this photo was taken on Monday, March 14.

On Monday, Nick Tripodi, a junior from Sharon, Melody Sandquist, a sophomore from Kent, and teacher Karen Davenport were asked the surviving lamb’s name. After a couple of suggestions were considered and rejected, Davenport said that traditionally the offspring are named using the first letter of the mother’s name (Lila, in this case).
