Kent is Clean Energy Community


KENT — The town has qualified as a Connecticut Clean Energy Community and is now eligible to receive free solar panels for town-owned buildings.

The announcement was made at an Aug. 2 meeting of the Board of Selectmen.

First Selectman Bruce Adams said the town is in negotiations with DCS Energy regarding installation of solar panels at various town sites.
