Kellams at Kent Memorial Library

A large crowd came out March 12 to Kent Memorial Library to hear Dan Kellams talk about the tough high school coach who had a lasting impact on his life. Kellams is the author of “A Coach’s Life: Les Hipple and the Marion Indians,” a biography of his strict but inspirational high school coach. In addition to reading excerpts from his book, Kellams shared recollections of his experiences with coach Hipple and answered questions from the audience.
