Interested in a live performance of, say, “Macbeth,” a Russian ballet, the Berlin Philharmonic, a sports event, perhaps playing a game with people all over the world, in your local movie house?
Well Bob and Carol Sadlon are making a start on all this by scheduling two plays from London’s National Theatre at Torrington’s Cinerom on Farley Place. Anton Chekhov’s “The Cherry Orchard,” with Zoë Wanamaker is scheduled for July 28 at 7 p.m., and July 31 at 2 p.m. And on Sept. 22 at 7 p.m., and Sept. 25 at 2 p.m., the company’s production of “One Man, Two Guvnors” will be shown.
