Grant will help with rewrite of plan


SALISBURY — The selectmen passed a resolution on March 7 authorizing First Selectman Curtis Rand to accept a state grant of $12,000 for rewriting the Town Plan of Conservation and Development. Rand said he would pass the paperwork along to the Planning and Zoning Commission.

All towns in the state are required to update their town plan once every 10 years. Towns that don’t comply are denied grant money.
