Fire at cabin on Schaghticoke land in Kent


KENT — A structure fire was reported in the early hours of Tuesday, Nov. 15, on land held in trust by the state of Connecticut that is designated as a part of the Schaghticoke Tribal Nation.

Shortly after midnight, Kent Fire Marshal Stanley MacMillan called the State Police at the Troop L barracks in Litchfield, requesting assistance with the investigation of a fire in a cabin and pavilion on land adjacent to 322 Schaghticoke Road.
