Enrollments will set budgets for 2012


FALLS VILLAGE — Enrollment figures for the Region One school district’s seven schools, as of Oct. 1, were released this week by the superintendent’s office.

The student population, as reported on Oct. 1, is used to determine how much each town will be charged in tuition in the next budget year. So the figures reported this month will determine the regional education budget for fiscal 2012, which begins next year on July 1.
