Dipping eggs as Easter art

LIME ROCK — The girls experimented with color and composition while the boys tried to dye as many as possible. The babies were mostly interested in seeing what color they could turn their fingers and how hard they could bang the eggs.

An egg dyeing party at Trinity Lime Rock Church on Saturday, April 23, drew a small but dedicated crowd. Though there were only seven children, they made short work of the seven dozen eggs Alexis Dorf, the church’s senior warden, had boiled for the event.
