Deputy village clerk bids farewell

WASHINGTON — Camille Prehatney, a New Jersey native, first moved to the town of Washington in 1971. That’s where she and her ex-husband started a dental practice. Then, 11 years ago, Prehatney moved into Millbrook because she wanted to live in the village.

From the time she arrived she became a vital member of the community, spending 40 years in the area and giving a significant amount of her time and energy to village government.
