Building inspector resigns


AMENIA — Mike Segelken, the town of Amenia’s building inspector and code enforcement officer, tendered a letter of resignation to the Town Board at its Feb. 10 meeting. The board accepted the resignation with regret.

Supervisor Wayne Euvrard said that Segelken expressed “mixed feelings” in his letter about leaving, having spent nearly seven years working for the town, but he had been able to find full-time work “in a neighboring municipality.”
