BOE budget and school board vote May 17


HARLEM VALLEY — Residents throughout the region will soon have the opportunity to vote for or against their schools’ proposed budgets for the 2011-12 academic year. Tuesday, May 17, is the date for the annual school district election and vote, when in addition to the budget voters get to cast their ballots in favor of candidates running for their district’s Board of Education.

Polling places are open from noon until 9 p.m. in the Webutuck and Millbrook districts, and from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m. in the Pine Plains district. Polling locations are as follows:
