SHARON—Robert Caeners, who has spent his entire career working in the food service industry, opened the Black Goose Grill in the shopping plaza in August. It has quickly become a popular gathering spot for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The grill’s newest attraction: It has been granted a wine and beer license, so the restaurant will now offer domestic and imported beer and wine with meals.

Caeners said the most popular items he serves now are the “six to eight daily specials, which always sell well. And our burgers and salads are very popular. Our breakfast wraps also sell very well.”
