Big gun called in for redistricting map showdown


Having met a 2011 deadline for the redrawing of state House and Senate legislative maps for the Connecticut General Assembly, the legislature’s Reapportionment Committee remained mired in disagreement over U.S. Congressional redistricting at the end of the year. The state Supreme Court has now intervened and hired a special master to oversee the process.
