Are Dunkin’ Donuts and Subway on order for North East?


NORTH EAST — If local businessman Ken Thompson has his way, those who pass through the town of North East may one day soon be able to indulge in fare from Dunkin’ Donuts and Subway.

Thompson appeared with his proposal before the town’s Planning Board on Wednesday, Feb. 9, but held off on making a formal submission pending permit approval of the proposed supermarket, off Route 44 and behind Thompson Plaza, which he owns.
