American Legion Post 178’s year in review

MILLERTON — Millerton American Legion Post 178 ended 2011 with a holiday party on Saturday, Dec. 17. The party was one way for the legion members to celebrate their achievements from throughout the year with the community.

“It’s a veterans party. It’s a friendship party. It’s all of those things. It’s an appreciation party,” said American Legion Auxiliary President Charlene Mayville, explaining that it thanks everyone for what they have done during the year. “It just brings everyone together for the holidays.”
