CORNWALL — It’s a world premiere: “Etruscan Lovers and Other Fools” will be performed on the Cornwall Town Hall stage later this month. The C.S. Hanson play has never had more than a reading onstage.

If a recent rehearsal was any indication, there will be a lot of fun happening on that stage. Audience members, be advised: The fun won’t stop at the proscenium.

The action takes place essentially in real time, at the annual patrons’ gala party at a museum of Etruscan art.
