Hilary Rosen got into a tub of hot water when she knocked Ann Romney for never having worked a day in her life. Politics being what they are, the Republicans jumped all over Rosen and the Democrats for disrespecting the stay-at-home mom. But politics being what they are, what was really happening is that everyone was speaking in shortcuts, haiku, code, but not actually saying anything meaningful.
