In appreciation: Carl Williams

Homage to Corporal Doggerel

Mr. Williams whose first
name was Carl

Never caused any canines
to snarl

They obeyed and adored him

And never abhorred him

Parce que en francais
il leur parle.

Careerwise a mathematician

He was also a skiing clinician

He saved the town money

Wrote poems that were funny

A Renaissance man,

first edition!
