Teresa J. Moore

SHARON — Teresa J. Moore, 45, passed away June 17, 2011, with her family by her side. She was born
July 1, 1965, in Sharon the daughter of Eileen (Morrison) and Thomas J. Moore Jr.

She graduated from Stissing Mountain High School in Pine Plains in 1983 and spent most of her working life in the
food service business. She worked at Foster’s Coach House in Rhinebeck for more than 16 years.

She always enjoyed fashion and the finer things in life and at the same time was very
passionate about the underdogs, who were mostly four-legged and furry.

An Icon Bridging Two Centuries

A sounds of the hymns rose to the rafters of St. Joseph’ Sanctuary, the funeral service of an icon spanning two centuries, was taking place. The appearance of friends in our lives still leaves me somewhat mystified. How the human chemistry works its magic to create a lasting friendship still leaves me in wonder.

BARKHAMSTED — Leland E. Adams of Barkhamsted died June 8, 2011. Funeral services were held June 13 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, New Hartford. Montano-Shea Funeral Home, New Hartford, has charge of arrangements.

WINSTED — Eleanor Connole of Winsted died June 10, 2011. Funeral services were held June 14 at Montano-Shea Funeral Home in Winsted.

Edward Owen Booth

LAKEVILLE — Edward Owen Booth, 79, of St. Lucie West, Fla., passed away June 7, 2011, at Treasure Coast Hospice Residence in Fort Pierce, Fla.

He was born July 1, 1931, in Brooklyn, N.Y, the son of Violet (Davey) and Capt. Thomas E. Booth (Merchant Service).

As was his father, Ed was involved with the marine industry in a division of General Motors, retiring from Detroit Diesel after 30 years of service.

Juliette A. Brooks

AMENIA—Juliette A. Brooks, 93, of Germantown, N.Y., died June 8, 2011, at the Livingston Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Livingston, N.Y.

She was born June 25, 1917, in St. Angels, Quebec, Canada, the daughter of the late Eva Mary (Dubuc) and Archie Omar Le Duc.

She married Howard Paul Brooks on Oct. 20, 1937, in Amenia. He predeceased her on Aug. 19, 1961.

A longtime resident of Dutchess County, she moved to Germantown in 2002 after living in Amenia for many years.

Celebration of life – William Genito

LAKEVILLE — A celebration of the life of William Genito will be held in the community room at Noble Horizons on Saturday, July 9, from 2 to 4 p.m.

Mr. Genito died Feb. 12, 2011, at Noble.

Everyone is also welcome to attend a graveside military service in the Salisbury Cemetery at 1 p.m. that day.

Florice Conway TenBroeck

NORTH CANAAN — Florice Conway TenBroeck, 82, beloved wife and best friend for more than 64 years of Clifford Raymond TenBroeck, passed away on June 7, 2011, in Lakeland, Fla., of COPD.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by five daughters, Anne Florice Andrews of Marathon, Fla., Bonnie Jean White of North Canaan, Melodie Jane Card of South Yarmouth, Mass., Laurie Ann Tarleton of Hyannis, Mass., and Linda Lee Brown of Rye, N.H.; her daughter-in-law, Brenda Meadows, of Jacksonville, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great- grandchildren.

Clarence H. Kelsey Jr.

WASSAIC — Clarence H. Kelsey Jr., 78, a 57-year resident of Wassaic died June 11, 2011, at Sharon Hospital.

He was born Dec. 31, 1932, in Sanford, N.Y., the son of the late Grace (Zurba) and Clarence H. Kelsey Sr.

He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. He married Patricia Norbet on Sept. 6, 1958, in Amenia. She survives at home.

He was a past chief, fire commissioner and longtime member of the Wassaic Fire Company.

Robert ‘Bob’ Arthur Jasmin Jr.

AMENIA — Robert “Bob” Arthur Jasmin Jr., 45, died tragically on June 6, 2011, doing the work he loved to do. His job is ranked in the top 10 most dangerous jobs. He was an arborist for 25 years.

He was born Nov. 11, 1965, in Mount Kisco, N.Y., and grew up in Flushing, Ohio. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, running, motorcycles and gardening.

He started his career as an arborist at Hawthorne Brothers, where he made many good friends and learned from them. In 1998, Bob started his own company, Jasmin Tree Service in Amenia.

William ‘Bill’ Frederick Pulver Sr.

LAKEVILLE — William “Bill” Frederick Pulver Sr., died at home on June 8, 2011, at the age of 92.

He was born Aug. 25, 1918, to Helene (Keller) and Worthey J. Pulver. In 1941 he married Adrienne “Adie” Thorn, who predeceased him in 2005.

Bill loved his family, his many friends, golf and a good joke. He was often “fined” at Rotary for his jokes, and he really liked the long ones that fooled you into thinking it was going to be a true story. As long as he was able, he also enjoyed lake and ocean sailing and skiing.
