WEBUTUCK — Coming back after falling behind 10-1 was a tall request for the Webutuck varsity baseball team, and in the end they just about pulled it off.
A late-inning comeback brought the score to 11-9 in favor of Spackenkill with the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh Monday, April 11. A win wasn’t in the cards for Webutuck, however, which is three games into the season and still looking for its first win.
Steve Hutchinson, Tyler Smith and Tommy Nethercott pitched for Webutuck in their at-home effort.
