FALLS VILLAGE — The avid readers of Lee H. Kellogg School celebrated their reading habits on Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 21 and 22.
Teacher Eileen Gargan said that over the summer vacation of 2018, 61 (out of 63) students read 847 books.
For the summer of 2019, all 67 LHK students read a whopping 1,072 books.
Gargan said Kellogg was one of eight Connecticut elementary schools to win the governor’s “Summer Reading Challenge.”
On Wednesday, Nov. 21, the school had a Books, Bingo and Bites celebration.
