COLEBROOK — The 25-degree temperature didn’t keep Colebrook residents from coming out for the fire department’s annual night skating party on Saturday, Jan. 26.

The town does not have a permanent ice skating rink. Once a year, the fire department sets up a makeshift rink on the municipal basketball court behind Town Hall.

This year, the party started a few minutes later than scheduled due to problems with getting the outdoor lights on.

Once the illumination had been mastered, skaters of all ages took to the ice.
